Q: What age group is the The Rock Cycle series designed for?

A: Generally speaking the Rock Cycle books are for students from 3rd grade through 7th grade. Teachers with multiple ages of students often pick these books for their Earth Science program because children of all ages love rocks and minerals.  The Rock and Mineral Field Guide is often purchased by geologists for their children to carry in a backpack when they go rockhounding.

Q: What grade level are the school books designed for?

A: The six school books are units of study designed for older students. Generally students in 8th through 12th grade can easily complete a book in six weeks. I found students really like the idea of starting a new book every six weeks. Students also like these books because they can complete each chapter with a minimum amount of help from their teachers.
