The Rock and Mineral Field Guide was written originally for students who completed the four ID Rock set of books. Geologists often buy this book for their children. They feel the charts and other basic information is easy for their children to use for the identification of rocks they collect.
The Earthquakes and Tsunamis book contains fascinating information about the Pacific Ocean. The book does not have a set number of chapters. Instead, it explains how and why there are so many earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis that occur along the Ring of Fire in the Pacific Ocean.
